Smoking point

The smoking point keeps away the smoke of the cigarettes from the premises, and prevents the escape from it. Furthermore, the strong suction which is created, forces the smoke to pass completely through special retaining tobacco filters. The 99.995 % of the purified air is pumped back into the room, without any heating or cooling losses, and we avoid having air flows. In this way, smokers and non smokers can coexist in the same place without the inconvenience of smoke. In addition it minimizes any harmful particulate matters that may exist in the surrounding area, depending on the setting of the filtering system.

Smokepoint can be placed in any room and all that it needs is to be connected to the mains. It consists of a chamber that restricts tobacco.

 

The creation of Smokepoint

The principle of creating Smokepoint was based on the effort to eliminate the smoke, thus and the problem. The Smokepoint shortens the absence of workers from their positions, because it can be placed close to the workstation, so the smoker does not need to leave his place. The filters consist of a filter for large particles, a pre-filter (F7), a HEPA filter (H14), a carbon filter and another filter for large particles. These carbon filters are known for their ability to effectively absorb various gases and odors, and HEPA filters are known for the efficient collection and removal of particles including harmful particles of cigarette smoke. The combination of these filters attaches purity of air up to 99.9%.

PLC-CONTROL: The latest technology

With the help of PLC-controls the Smokepoint can be configured to adapt to any level of sensitivity, to save power. For example, the lights and the operation of the chamber can be opened / closed at any time you wish.

By using a large diameter fan with the engine fully automated, power consumption is significantly reduced. Thus, Smokepoint consumes only: Stand-alone mode: 5W Standby mode: 25 W 600m3 / t: 83 W. Stand-alone mode is a setting which allows Smokepoint to start operation at intervals beyond the normal working hours. The lighting is closed when the chamber is in stand-by mode, after the end of normal operation. This ensures minimum power consumption. The function of the power of 5 W is permanent as the efficiency of the filters is maintained in an optimum way with a constant low flow air. The special sensor is always in the Stand-alone mode, in order to switch on automatically the lights and the motor every time someone walks into the chamber.

Constant high efficiency

The motor has an upgraded microprocessor which records all nearby functions and thus it automatically adjusts to our corresponding requirements, from 100m3/h of air (in the stand-by mode) to the 1200m3/h (in maximum operation). Also, the air flow rate is automatically adjusted so that it remains stable even when the filters start to clog so that the performance in clean air remains constant.

Ash control

The integrated ashtray in chamber Smokepoint, has capacity for up to 10,000 cigarettes. To avoid spread of the odor, there is a special mechanism built on top of the ashtray which hermetically seals it, the filter HEPA. HEPA filter is a high efficiency particles filter. It removes the 99.995% of airborne such as those of asbestos, etc.

Activated charcoal

Activated charcoal consists of organic substances of fossilized carbon. It has a huge active surface area (up to 2000 m2/g) which led to an excellent adsorption capacity of various harmful organic substances and gases from the air and smoke. Particle sizes: Pollen 20-80 microns, mite (mite allergen) 10-40 microns, Fungi 2-20 microns, particles from pets 1-10 microns, suspended city particles <10 microns, Viruses <0,5 microns, Tobacco smoke 0,01-0,1 microns.
